LEAD Inc. announces first annual Leadership Grant County all-class reunion
Marion, IN, April 9 — Leadership Grant County alumni and friends can look forward to mingling with their colleagues at the first annual Leadership Grant County reunion from Leadership Education and Development, Inc. (LEAD, Inc.).
The group will meet between 4:00 and 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 24, 2008 at the Old National Bank meeting room, 100 South Washington Street, Marion. Alumni are asked to RSVP for the event online at www.leadinc.us/rsvp/ or via phone at (765) 734-4922.
"It's exciting that this community has had so many wonderful graduates of the Leadership Grant County program, and I'm looking forward to seeing them at the reunion," said Aaron Pratt, 2005-2006 Leadership Grant County graduate and LEAD Inc. board member. "Learning about everyone’s current roles in Grant County and seeing how the class has affected them is going to be thrilling!"
In addition to light refreshments, reunion attendees can expect announcements about LEAD, Inc’s leadership programs, including the introduction of an advanced leadership class for Leadership Grant County alumni. The course will be led by longtime program facilitator, State Representative Tim Harris.
Leadership Grant County, originally developed by Marion-Grant County Chamber of Commerce, has offered yearly classes since 1980 to develop leadership potential and character in Grant County residents. When asked about the legacy of the program, Harris stated, "Nearly 500 individuals have graduated from the course, and graduates have gone on to make a lasting, positive impact in our community."
