GAS CITY — The Gas City council gave a community group the OK to apply for a $483,000 grant to restore the historic Thompson-Ray House, 401 Main St., at Tuesday night’s meeting.

Leadership Education and Development Inc., a company designed offer leadership training, plans to buy the house and use it for leadership and community activities.

Marion, IN, April 9 — Leadership Grant County alumni and friends can look forward to mingling with their colleagues at the first annual Leadership Grant County reunion from Leadership Education and Development, Inc. (LEAD, Inc.).

The group will meet between 4:00 and 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 24, 2008 at the Old National Bank meeting room, 100 South Washington Street, Marion. Alumni are asked to RSVP for the event online at www.leadinc.us/rsvp/ or via phone at (765) 734-4922.
